Entropion is called the condition where the eyelids (especially the lower one), is directed inwards. It may happen due to eyelids' muscles contraction, after a scar which is created after a wound, or even after inflammation from several eyelids' diseases.
When the eyelid is turned inwards, then the eyelashes "hurt" the eye. As a result, the patients may confront pain, redness and tearing symptoms.
