Purpose of processing
The purpose and legal basis of the processing of personal data is the execution, support and promotion of the medical treatment contract between us and is strictly limited to the necessary treatment for its purposes, namely for preventive and occupational medicine, medical diagnosis and treatment. Also, your personal data can be used for statistical purposes, namely to extract statistical conclusions.
Personal data of minors
IATRIKI M.E.P.E. may collect personal data of minors under sixteen (16) years of age directly from those who exercise parental care or their guardians with their explicit consent and with the purpose of implementing, supporting and promoting our contractual medical treatment relationship.
Criteria defining the period of time during which personal data will be stored
Personal data are stored for as long as it is necessary in order to implement our contractual relationship of medical treatment, but also after its expiration. Criterion for the time, during which your personal data will be stored, is the necessity of safeguarding your interests, as well as the interests of IATRIKI M.E.P.E. and in particular personal data will be kept for 20 years from the end of our medical treatment contract, i.e. for 20 years since your last visit. However, in the event of the lay of claims, they shall be retained for as long as it is necessary in order to resolve the claims irrevocably.
Transmission of personal data
IATRIKI M.E.P.E. transmits your personal data to your referral doctor, to collaborating clinics so as they provide you with medical services, to cooperating companies for taking special medical treatments, with your explicit consent, as well as to public or judicial authorities.
Rights you have as the data subject
As a data subject, you retain all the rights provided by EU Regulation 679/2016, as well as the rest of regulations and laws that are valid each time for the protection of the individual from the processing of personal data. More specifically, you have the following rights:
